WTF?

Here are the stats of 4 four NFL QBs…

QB1 - 4009 Yards, 34 TDs, 105.5 QB Rating

QB2 - 4526 Yards, 25 TDs, 86.0 QB Rating

QB3 - 4002 Yards, 27 TDs, 95.0 QB Rating

QB4 - 3472 Yards, 22 TDs, 81.0 QB Rating

Can you guess which 3 QB’s made the Pro Bowl?  What about which one won the NFL MVP?

Seems pretty obvious to me, but maybe you need some more information.  Here are the records of each QB’s team and whether or not they may be playoffs…

QB1 - 8-8; Division Champion

QB2 - 8-8; Didn’t make the playoffs

QB3 - 11-5; Divison Champion

QB4 - 9-7; Didn’t make the playoffs

Now the answer’s really obvious, right?

Not so fast…

QB1 - Philip Rivers, S-O-L

QB2 - Jay Cutler, Pro Bowl

QB3 - Peyton Manning, MVP & Pro Bowl

QB4 - Bret Farve, Pro Bowl

I might be biased, but Rivers got screwed.  He lead the league in TDs by a wide margin - and with 20% fewer attempts then the next closest guy.  He beat Farve head-to-head, was one horrible call away from beating Cutler twice, and lost to Manning on a last second field goal.
